A health assessment is only as valuable as what you understand and do next. Here is what happens once your assessment is complete.
Understanding your results
The timing varies a little from one assessment to the next, but your results are typically ready within 48 to 72 hours. You receive a comprehensive report, both digital and printed, in English, so everything is set out clearly in one place – easy to share with anyone you choose.
Your results, your choice
Once your results are ready, what happens next is entirely up to you.
There is no single path everyone has to follow. Choose the option that feels right for you.
Talk it through by phone
Arrange a consultation by phone to walk through your results at your own pace, with time for any questions.
Return to the hospital
Come back to Shanghai International Medical Center (SIMC) to discuss your results in person.
Take them home
Simply take your report home to share with your own doctor, wherever you are based.

Most results are reassuring – a clear result is still valuable.
A clear result is a baseline you can measure against year on year. Knowing where you stand today helps you make better decisions with your doctor tomorrow.
It is why many of our clients choose to repeat an assessment each year, building a picture of their health over time rather than a single snapshot.

Your report is designed to travel with you.

Onward care at SIMC
As a leading international hospital, SIMC can provide onward consultations, further diagnostics and treatment, drawing on the wider network of highly capable hospitals in Shanghai's medical district. Any further care is provided by SIMC, not by Future Health China.
A note on insurance
SIMC works with many international insurers. While your assessment is not covered by insurance, further treatment may be eligible under your own policy. Terms vary entirely by insurer, so speak with yours directly to understand what is covered.
